My work examines idealist notions, utopia and utilitarianism in the contemporary era. In particular I am interested in the ideas, events and concepts that have assisted in the moulding of society in the contemporary era.

 Speaker’s Corner (2011) 
Speaker’s Corner references Arthur Dooley’s Speaker’s Platform at the Pier Head (1973). It vanished from the public realm during regeneration works inLiverpool during the 1990’s. Therefore the work refers to notions of free speech, peaceful activism and trade unionism.
